Crane Comedy Social is a recurring Friday night hangout designed for people who want more out of their evenings in Joo Chiat with more laughs, more connection, and a reason not to just go straight home after work.

Happening every Friday, this seated dinner experience blends live curated open-mic comedy with social dining, creating an easy-going, welcoming space where you can unwind, eat well, and laugh your stress out alongside strangers who might just become friends.

What to Expect:

• Dinner starts (6:30PM): Arrive after work, take your seat, and ease into the evening with dinner included. Expect a relaxed dining setup with a grazing table that makes connecting feel natural and not forced.
• Comedy Takes the Floor (8PM–10PM): As plates settle, the mic opens. Enjoy a live open-mic comedy night featuring comedians from East Coast Comedy. Expect a mix of fresh material, familiar faces, and spontaneous energy that keeps every Friday different.
• Laugh Together, Not Alone: This is a mostly seated, watch-and-enjoy experience — but table interaction is encouraged. Laughing together has a funny way of breaking barriers, and the room is designed to feel social without forcing it.
• Stay, Chat, Linger: After the laughs, the night doesn’t have to end. Mingle, hang back, or BYOB (yes, it’s free), while other drinks are available for purchase. A wonderful place to be on a Friday night with no pressure.

Each night is a hilariously unique experience: the comedy format is modelled on a curated open-mic structure, just like the world’s best comedy clubs. With a different lineup and host every Friday, no two nights are ever the same — and occasionally, international comedians drop by for surprise appearances.
